Very beautiful, perfect size
Absolutely beautiful
The series of commentaries on Revelation book, based on the homilies of Archimandrite Athanasios Mitilinaios are the best I could find until now. In my opinion Father Athanasios had received a special charisma from God, which allowed him to comment and interpret the very difficult book of Revelation in a quite equilibrate manner, free from exaltations, exaggerations and false teachings, which easily can be encountered in such endeavor. Very important, he makes that in the most authentic orthodox spirit, supporting its interpretations with teachings from Holy Fathers and concordances across the whole Scripture, as well as with fitting examples from history and our days. As a non-native English speaker, I can confess the translation text is easy to read, the ideas quite clearly expressed, preserving probably the original spirit of the homilies.
I strongly recommend these commentary books to every Christian Orthodox and not only. They will strengthen faith and enlighten the Orthodox understanding in some of the most obscure texts in the Bible.
